Sunshine Tutoring provides virtual and/or in-person academic tutoring for students of various grade levels. By creating an account or scheduling a session, you agree to:

2. SMS/Text Messaging Policy

By submitting your phone number on our Site or through our service platform, you expressly consent to receive SMS/text messages from Sunshine Tutoring for purposes including, but not limited to:

  • Schedule changes or tutor updates
  • General customer service communications
  • Promotional or educational content (if opted in)

Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency may vary.

3. Scheduling, Payment, and Cancellation

Tutoring sessions must be scheduled in advance. Payment is required at the time of booking unless other arrangements are made.

Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance to receive a full refund or reschedule credit. Cancellations made with less notice may be subject to a cancellation fee or forfeiture of payment.

We reserve the right to reschedule sessions due to tutor availability, emergencies, or technical issues.


4. Code of Conduct

All users, including parents, students, and tutors, agree to engage respectfully and professionally. You may not:

  • Harass, abuse, or threaten tutors or staff
  • Use tutoring sessions to promote products, services, or personal agendas
  • Violate academic integrity policies (e.g., asking tutors to complete graded assignments)

Violations may result in account termination without refund.


5. Intellectual Property

All content shared by Sunshine Tutoring, including lesson plans, worksheets, and resources, is the property of the company or its licensors and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce or distribute materials without written consent.


6. Limitation of Liability

Sunshine Tutoring makes no guarantees about academic outcomes or grade improvements. Our services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We are not liable for any damages resulting from use of the Site or services, including missed sessions or academic performance issues.
