Rachel moved to DeBary, Florida when she was five years old. Even as a child, Rachel knew she wanted to teach children. For a time, her love for math lead her to become an accoountant. Throughout her education, Rachel discovered many learning and organizational techniques that would eventually lead to her personal success.
Rachel earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting as well as a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Central Florida. After enhancing her accounting career in New York City, she returned to Central Florida as a pharmaceutical accountant for one of the largest companies in the United States. Rachel married in 2019 and had a son in 2020. Still a full-time accountant, she also began to satisfy her dream of working with children by opening the doors to Sunshine Tutoring.
Rachel was eager to share her ideas with young minds, make learning fun and help students excel. As the business grew, and in order to help as many children as possible, Rachel recruited a team of compassionate educators to help execute her vision.
