Kathaleen spent much of her teenage years in Puerto Rico, where she became fully bilingual in both spoken and written Spanish. After returning to South Florida, she built a successful 16-year career in accounting. Her love for numbers, analytical thinking, and attention to detail not only shaped her professional achievements but also strengthened the problem-solving skills she now brings to teaching—especially in math.
In 2007, Kathaleen married her high school sweetheart, a proud veteran, and together they are raising two boys, now ages 13 and 8. Being a mom has given her a deep understanding of the challenges students face and the kind of support families need to help their children thrive.
In 2021, Kathaleen and her family relocated to Deltona, Florida, where she embraced her true passion: education. Since then, she has dedicated herself fully to teaching and tutoring, bringing patience, creativity, and encouragement to every student she works with.
Her teaching style is warm, flexible, and supportive. She understands that every child learns differently and adapts her lessons to fit each student’s strengths and needs—helping them build confidence and curiosity along the way.
Outside the classroom, Kathaleen enjoys family time with her boys, relaxing with a good book, crafting, and cheering on her favorite soccer teams. For her, helping students succeed is more than just a job—it’s a privilege and a joy.
