About Catherine
Catherine is a dedicated, certified teacher who brings classroom expertise and a genuine love for learning to every tutoring session. With hands-on experience in Volusia County Schools, she has worked with students from a wide range of backgrounds and learning styles — and she knows that no two learners are exactly alike.
What sets Catherine apart is her commitment to building personalized lesson plans for each student. Rather than applying a one-size-fits-all approach, she takes the time to understand where each child is, what challenges they face, and how they learn best — then creates sessions that feel engaging, achievable, and even enjoyable.
Outside of tutoring, Catherine is an avid reader with a dream of building her own personal library someday. She loves spending time with her husband and their cat, Spicy, who keeps life full of surprises. She's currently studying Dutch and has her sights set on the Netherlands, where she hopes to continue teaching internationally.
